Asphalt Removal and Replacement:

• If your asphalt has failed for some reason, RAPCO will determine why it failed, suggest
  steps on how to repair it, and complete the repairs. If it is determined that existing asphalt
  needs to be removed and replaced, RAPCO has the manpower and equipment needed for the job. RAPCO will remove and replace the areas of damaged asphalt pavement. If your pavement suffers from any oil damage, those areas will be removed and hauled away.
  
• All repaired areas will be cut out with concrete saws and/or air hammers ensuring quality and safe removal of debris and damaged asphalt.
• All areas will be repaired and reinforced with an additional grade 8 stone which will be regraded and compacted for a durable finish.
• Repaired areas will also be primed with RC-70 liquid asphalt making your new asphalt even stronger. Note: If during the removal process of the work, RAPCO encounters more pavement depth than specified by the contract, a written
• change order to cover additional costs shall be required. This will be communicated after parking lot evaluation and before action is taken.
• RAPCO will also remove any existing wheel stops and place them off the pavement surface when resurfacing your asphalt.
• After asphalt replacement, RAPCO will re-pin the wheel stops per your directions, and re-stripe existing stalls.
